Contact Lux Libertas

Lux Libertas was founded to promote the basic principals and historically accurate viewpoints that made America great. Our advisory board and founders are made up of leaders from a wide range of backgrounds which include business, military, and civic organizations.
Our goal is to positively influence our readers, especially the next generation of leaders, by presenting accurate, reliable information regarding the formative stages of our country as well as current national events.
A general dissolution of principles and manners will more surely overthrow the liberties of America than the whole force of the common enemy. While the people are virtuous they cannot be subdued; but when once they lose their virtue then will be ready to surrender their liberties to the first external or internal invader.
Samuel Adams, letter to James Warren, February 12, 1779

Wonderful, informative website. I will pass it along to friends family and the occasional liberal acquaintance. Thank you.

Thank you, for your time on this. The problem with our country is that we no longer truly teach about our founding fathers, writings, and the background of those early writings upon which out country was founded. The country is now arguing over social/government subjects because we’ve morphed, and selectively “cherry-picked” what our founding fathers were all about, and what they tried to form at our nations infancy. That abstract view may be more “politically correct”, but that doesn’t make it the truth. Thanks for a beacon of light.

Question: Do you know more now than when you were in your infancy?

Not exactly an apt comparison Don Edward (comparison of nation to human) - a more true comparison would be the leaders of nation during it’s infancy to the leaders after nation matured. In such a comparison you will find that the founders were usually very well read and my guess would be that they were on a much higher intellectual level than the current leadership.

I came to know about you through The Library of Congress (Geography and Map Division)and found interesting maps. I am working on a publication project about the Independence movements in America.
Would you please tell me to whom I should write to for rights & reproduction permits?
You have done a tremendous job, thank you for facilitating our research.
Sincerely

Your ref to Founding Father Tho. Paine’s statement on ‘the
cunning of the fox,’ gives added endorsement to Fox News TV!
Thanks for the accuracy and preservation of our real history!

While the narration is never explicitly identified as fitting a particular frame of reference, like an online journal or therapy session, the mode of address distinguishes it from a more objective narration like the police report tone of Dragnet. ,

I just wanted to drop a note thanking you for publishing the articles/images written by myself and my fellow Public Affairs Airmen/Soldiers/Sailors/Marines in Afghanistan and Iraq. I appreciate being considered a “historically accurate source”. It is my goal to inform readers by providing accurate information. I want them to know what our great military members are doing every day.
